How to Get Glue off Plastic

Get Glue Off Plastic Vinyl

Moisten a paper towel or cotton ball with acetone, dab on the glue area and wait until it begins to soften. Take the clean cloth and wipe away the glue.

Use Household Products

First use soapy warm water. Try using a mixture of Baking Soda & Vegetable Oil. Dip a cloth into some vinegar and then lay it over the glue.

Rubbing Alcohol & Acetone

Dip a piece of cotton ball or paper towel in the acetone and dab at the glue residue until it softens. Dab it, do not rub. Then remove with a clean cloth.

Commercial Removers

There are also products specifically for removing glue from plastic. Spray onto the glue, leave for a few minutes, and clean with a cloth.
